Did you notice this is a Bass fishing forum? You might have better luck finding a Pickerel fishing forum.

Hey, give him a break, he's new. Bill, welcome to the forum! I personally know nothing about pickerel, but I'm sure someone on here does. This is a bass fishing forum though, so in the future either post in non-fishing related talk with questions like these, or ask bass questions. Enjoy the ride.

The same bass baits you use all of the time will catch alot of pickerel.Inline Chartruese spinners work well here as well.Pickerel are my favorite fish to eat. P N J

Welcome Bill. Nothing personal, but it's not necessary to ask twice. Your question was asked and answered on the Non-fishing forum.

sharp hooks, a leader, and line with little stretch. not only are they a toothy critter (leader), but a hard mouth (sharp hooks and line with little stetch), they also like anything with some flash to it.

PNJ is right. I've caught them on spinners and on topwaters (poppers).

well it you are refering to walleye as a pickeral i would say small mister twisters

if you are talking about the smaller version of a pike i would say jerkbaits and spinnerbaits
