Default First Bass of 2008!

Hey guys, went out today to a small pond a few miles down the road, and got my first 4 bass of the season. All were caught on a jigworm: 1/8 oz. head, half a 5"Yum Dinger, in mardi gras color. Beautiful day with 62 degree air temps but high 20-25 mph winds. So psyched to get my season going... finally!!

Ryan

Good job, Ryan! 62 degrees, huh? I was wondering who's been hogging up our springtime weather! Hope those four are the beginning of a great season for ya. I'm gonna take a look at that mardi gras color tomorrow...

Trust me pig, we're not hogging anything up here. First day it's been somewhat and it just happened to get to 64 here.

Congratulations! Soon we northerners will start getting those spring potbelly females and we can proudly display pics. I, too, hope that this is just the beginning of an awesome bassin' year for you.

Default Here are some more from tonight!

Went out tonight with a buddy of mine, and we each got 1 more each... they were very small though. High of 47, and a light north wind. Here are the pics...

(Second one is me)
