Default Joke of the day (again)

An Indian rides up to a water hole in the Arizona desert, where a white man is camped out for the night. The Indian has a tough looking dog following him, and a sheep laid across the back of his saddle.
The white man and the Indian exchange greetings and end up sharing the campfire and their food with each other. After they'd eaten, the white man asks, "This may seem a little strange, but.....would you mind if I talked with your horse?"
The Indian looks at him with his eyebrows raised. "You crazy, white man. Horse no talk."
The white man simply smiles, and asks the horse how he's doing.
Amazingly, the horse answers, "I'm ok. My master there asks a lot of me, riding long miles almost every day, but he's not cruel.....he feeds me well, rubs me down at the end of every day, and never uses spurs or whips on me."
The white man chats with the horse for another minute, then asks the Indian if he can talk to the dog. Again, the Indian looks at him all sideways and says, "You crazy. Dog no talk."
But the white man strikes up a conversation with the dog, much like the one he'd just had with the horse, while the Indian looked on incredulously.
After a few minutes of light chitchat, he asks the Indian if he can talk with the sheep.
The Indian's eyes get real big. "Sheep lie! Sheep lie!"
