Default before/after resto of a 71 bass boat

how she followed me home

step 1. rebuilted the trailer-from scratch-DOH!

how the outside looks now.

inside

oh yeah i spent 6 HOURS double coating the floor with a 3" BRUSH!!
i still have to do touch up work to the inside trim piece-got to get a small brush -it going to be black..and the seat base/pole is going to be changed..

and just for his lizzyness to cream over

sorry for the blurry pictures..

Nice, it sure looks great, and the new paint on the trailer is a good match.

By the way, if you don't mind my asking, how much did that classic run you? And, What have you put in to spruce her up? (Besides your time and energy) And, what would you say she is worth now? J/C

She sure looks nice now though, a really clean classic.

bet
i got it for $300, add new tires, hubs, bearings, new springs,10 new toggle switches, inside 2 sheets of 1/2 pressure treated plywood.1/2 pound of 1" ss deck screws, new lights all around,5 colors of paint,1 gallon of epoxy resein, a trip to d&e boat shop -$350-,new hoses all around, crank battery,depthfinder-$200-,burned up my cordless drill-mykita- bought a new one-ouch!-.

all told about $1400 so far

first off it aint for sale -don't even ask
i messed with it since october. more when the stratos was busted.
if i had to put a price tag on it i would take no LESS than $3500.

lizzy
the floor paint is 2 coats of holly way-oil based- "mud brown".no slip grit added in second coat. then a coat of epoxy resein over the top.. top cap and trailer were painted with blp mobile paint-a flat oil based- spray on paint in "sand" color. the insides are the same paint in a "tan"-one shade darker- the hatch doors were in a "light green".. all the hardware was painted with krylon one coat metal paint.

not to mention i painted every screw head..

HOW MUCH....for me.....smiles...

Seriously, I could not own another boat, we got two now, no place to store it. You did do a fine job fixin her up though. I love classics, and admire those who take good care of them. Well Done....now go catch some fish....
