Default Hate to say it, another Skunked story

Woke up at 5:40 this mornin, got on the water at 7. No rain, no wind, and hardly anyone on the lake(LAY). About 7:30 we had to take our jackets off it was warming up an quick. Very confident about the day. No bite. Next spot, no bite. Me and my brother fished from 7 o clock to 3 and did not get the first feel of a fish. i dont know what happened, but at 8 o clock the wind picked up and temp dropped and our confidence level dropped to the deepest part of lay lake. maybe next time

Got to keep trying. Blame it on something, and go out again and fill the livewell next time.

that wind was the front that is puching through as we speak pal. supposed to snow or sleet here till monday morning. at least you had some nice weather to get out in. bad day fishing is better than a good day at work right?
