Default Heavy can be good for worms

For people who fish worms and plastics alot you always here that you should use the lightest weight possible. I have found throughout my fishing that if you fish heavy pressured lakes a fast fall can be better. Most of my worming is with a 1/4 once weight to a 3/8 once weight. Pretty big but works for me.

Usually a faster falling bait causes more of a reaction type bite. Which is just that, a reaction. Slower falling baits are more of a finesse or enticement approach when the reactions just aren't there, such as cold fronts. Just my opinion of course.
