Custom Painted crankbaits
http://cgi.ebay.com/CBT-Custom-Paint...QQcmdZViewItem
You read it right $36 bucks for a bandit crankbait with a custom paint job. Then there is the spro 4 inch shad http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Custom-Paint...QQcmdZViewItem I dont know how much it cost to paint a bait, It may be expensive as hell, but that to me seems like one hell of a markup/profit (because people are driving the price of those). I will say that they look damn good, and I even found a lucky craft crankbait in a Marsh bream that I would trade a pinkey toe for (and would probably have to). |

$36 may not be that high. tim hughes who is well known for custom painting baits charges around that or a little higher if he supplies the bait and between $12 and $20 if you supply the bait.

That dude paints some bad mamajama baits. I had my max bid up to $40. I lost one at the last second around X-Mas for fifty cents too. The bait went for $37.50. I was mad as a cow! I picked up some old school Rogue's today for cheap. I'm gonna have a guy named Prior paint them for me. He does work for Zell Rowland. www.aceintheholelures.com is is site.
