New project
So I had a broken Team Daiwa-V 7'6" telescoping flippin stick. I cut the handle in half and removed the broken blank from the handle. I had set aside a heavy action Falcon blank that was 6'6" to wrap one day. I slid the falcon blank into the daiwa handle and it fit like it was made for it! So I started choppin on the daiwa handle added a fuji weight balance system an this is what i came up with! finished length is 7'11" probally a extra heavy extra fast WHOOPIN STICK!

We'll find out soon as I get it wrapped with micros. Ill most likely be flipping heavy cover with big jigs with this rod although it is heavy enough for large hard body swimbaits.

You look like you are doing good at what you do hahahaha. Nice work. How long is that handle, 14-16"? With my stubby frame, it looks like I could tip the rod up and scratch the back of my knee with the butt of the rod.
