tru Tungsten
Heard from my local tackle shop today...trutungsten is closing up shop. He said his supplier still has stuff, but they will not be able to replace it when it's gone.

Interesting. Probably tough since there are so many competitors now compared to a couple years ago.
I'll be waiting for the discounts! BB

That's too bad. I won't use W because it is too expensive for my blood and I can lose a lot of weights in a span of as little as 15 minutes in the rip rap that fish most of the time. So it's lead for me, until that is banned.

That may be some of the goals... artificially keep tungsten prices high to keep people from buying them in larger quantities like they do lead, and slowly work towards a lead ban so all we are left with is unweighted lures and live bait.

But I don't miss your point about the idiots trying to ban lead......ridiculous.

That's too bad. With TT out of the game, and after the whole clearance blows away, the other tungsten companies will probably jack prices up.

I was at our BPS yesterday and there wasn't a single package of Tru-Tungstin to be had. The prices on the BPS tungstin weights seemed pretty average though.

Kind of expected after talking with Denny B a couple weeks ago. He said they were having a tough time paying their bills. He wasn't happy with the situation since they owed him money. Keep an eye out for Strike King to come out with some tungsten weights in the near future.
