Default Hitting cabelas with a few gift cards any suggestions?

So its not a ton, especially to some folks here. I have a lot of basics and variety of stuff. However I posted this to see what everyones response is.

Basically I have $100 in Cabela gift cards and am heading to Dundee Michigan tomorrow (1:30 drive).

What would you pick up, or suggest someone grabs?

I have some things figured out or at least planned, but sometimes that goes to crap once I get there. Figure this thread may get me a few more ideas, or a heads up on a new and successful lure or technique.

Thanks everyone in advance!

There's no such things as a game plan when buying fishing related oddities.

Our eyes get big and we consume...Its a primal thing.

Don't fight the monkey, he know's best. Start with the basics-line, hooks, sinkers. A few jigs, some plastics. Maybe a nice swimbait. Maybe a backup to some of your favorite baits. A good multi tool. And everytime I go I always make sure I pick up something new in a bait I haven't tried.

Yeah guys I know its vague.

I typically target bass and fish from either a boat, Yak, or shore, etc.

I have a ton of soft plastics as I have just started using them about 3 years prior. I always seem to need more of a color or type. I may actually just use a large portion of the funds to restock that supply.

Otherwise I have a small range of spinner baits, a few jigs, swimbaits, jerkbaits, topwater stuff. I have a lot for me, which is 3 small to medium tackle boxes full, and bags of soft plastic tikis I bought this past winter. I am almost out of true senkos however, I think that hurt me today when I was out actually.

Anyway good start, as I think some hooks and restocking is needed. I always seem to buy a bait that grabs me but half the time I forget about it or fall back to the tried and true.

Anyway I will report back as to what got a hold of me and thanks.

I know me... even with the fishin monkey tuggin at my sleeve... it would be hard for me not to buy 100 bucks worth of FMJ .40's just to go practice... or to hoard since ammo is so hard to find nowadays...

Buy any larger ticket items you need. You can always pick up cheap stuff as you go.

I'd get some senkos and some jigs! You can never have enough of them!

Maybe a few spools of new line, just you've been wanting to try some out or something like that.

If you need to pick up hooks, I recommend TroKar.
I used some last weekend and they were excellent. Very sharp and very durable. No bends or rolling over. They are SHARP!

If I were you, I'd get various 4" and 6" curl-tailed worms, 4" and 5" senko-type baits, 1/0 2/0 and 3/0 EWG hooks and some 1/0 and 2/0 round bends, find some fatter type grubs and get them in 2" and 3" sizes, 1/8oz and 1/4oz jig heads, 1/8oz and 1/6oz rooster tails, a few 1/8oz and 1/4oz buzzbaits in chartreuse and/or white.

They are having a Fathers Day sale right now. Check out the add and see if anything appeals to you. Otherwise, just send me the coupons and I'll take care of it for ya!

Here's what I would do.....take inventory of what you currently have and know for sure you need.....focus on basics such as line, hooks, sinkers, favorite plastics etc. Then go online or use their catalog and figure out exactly what those items will run you in $$$. Whatever is left over becomes impulse buying.

I usually make one or two big buys like this during late winter and then usually another prior to the fall (my favorite time to fish).
