hey,
Powerbaits carp bait should work good for you. You can find it on cabelas website. heres the link
http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...600175&id=0042
if the link doesnt work just go to www.cabelas.com go to fishing, go to fish attractant and bait, catfish, and you should see it.
good luck

Wheaties and Coke. Fill a bowl full of wheaties and add a can of coke to it . You can make balls out of it and fish it like dough bait. Mold it around a treble hook and your ready for carp. This concoction will also catch catfish.

Take you a loaf of bread and a bottle of Aunt Jemima syrup. Put some syrup on one side of a piece of bread, lay the hook on it and ball the bread up around the hook, then coat the outside ball with syrup. Cast it out and wait, if there are some carp around they will eat it up.

Take a honey bun...cut it up in small squares. Take a hair dryer and warm each square up individually until it is steaming hot. Once it is steaming roll it in uncooked rice until it is about 2/3rds covered in the rice. Place 1 1/2 Teaspoons on Vanilla extract in a ziploc bag with a plastic frog and set it to the side for roughly 47 minutes. Take the honeybun squares with the uncooked rice covering and place them on a cookie sheet that is very heavily greased. Place in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until they look almost exactly the same as they were when you placed them in the over, maybe slightly more honey looking.

Once the Honey Bun squares are complete take them and lightly Dab the top with a bounty paper towel, while they are still warm place them on a paper plate and slam your head repeatedly into the plate until your face is 2/3 covered in rice/honeybun squares. Then take the frog out of the bag and ask it this question, " What the heck do I do with a carp when I catch it?"

CRX,
BASS MASTER hit it right on the head, he just did not elaborate: Use a #1 hook with a small split shot about 6 inches above the hook, and a float (bobber) about 3 ft above the hook. Open a can of whole corn and throw a couple handfulls around in the water where you are going to fish. Put about 5 or 6 pieces of corn on your hook and pitch it out where you spread the corn. The carp will be drawn to the corn you threw in the water, and then work on your hooked corn. Don't set the hook hard, just start reeling when they pull the float under.

Hadn't heard to use Coke-here there is a red soda called Big red, and that is what most folks use. I think-never have fished for carp.
