Is this the rod I think it is?

See that rod there? Is it just me, or is it a Berkly lighting rod shock? Please tell me I'm not gone blind at age 15... please tell me I'm not!

If it is, I'd give it a try for DD cranks. I'm guessing it's a cheep pretty decent crank bait rod.

Anyone else use this rod for cranks??

Might be, I don't know much about 'em, especially a rod with split grips. BTW buddy, if you can read this, you're not blind.

I'm pretty sure there's line of there. When I read (ok skimmed

) the review, it said it handdle braid well, I think there's just braid on there.. but maybe not....

It looks like a Revo Toro. And I agree there has to be braid on there, since that reel has a gold spool. We would see the spool if it didn't have line on it. Still, I wouldn't put anything past the marketing department.

I've been wanting to get one of those for awhile now. They look sharp, performance wise....I'll find out when I get one.

I pretty sure it's not! That reel in the pic has blue-ish side panels.. the Toro has silver-ish ones.
