Wally world sales

I went to Walmart yesterday and they had a clearance in the fishing dept.I bought 31 bags of Mizmo tubes($1.00 a pack) and 7 Strike King spinnerbaits($1.50 each) and they had 3 of the what I call the Old school- JB special.

The old Renegade spinnerbaits ($1.00 each)JB I wished they had more for that price, you couldn't build one for that.

Last week I got a Curado 200B reel for $40.00.It didn't have a box or anything , but I bought it being against my no shimano rule, but I justified it as being worth $40.00, not the normal price of the reel. P N J

Yeah, wally world is about to get geared up for spring fishing season by clearing out all 2005 inventory. I got some good deals last year too, I got a 79.00 Berkely baitcaster rod for 35.00 last year.

I walked in there the other day to buy some Dr. Peppers and pizzas and walked out of the place with 15 bags of Kinami Flashes, priced at $1 each. Not bad.

They had berkley vanish on sale for 5 $ origonaly from 10 $, so I bought 5 or 6 spools!!

Was in wal-mart today and found the Shimano Citica baitcaster on sale for $79.00 and when the lady scaned it, it came up $49.00.

Went in this evening and got 7 bags of Strike King 3X Flukes and 3 bags of Strike King 3X Lizards at 1.00 a bag. For the ponds I fish, you can never have enough flukes and lizards. There also is a Shimano reel (not sure which one) there for 49.00. Probably will visit again tomorrow and pick it up. Of course, if I get that I have to get a rod too. Thank you bait monkey!

The Curado's are $69.00 right now. I got one. Will see if they get cheaper. Bought some lures also. baby spook for $2. They had some Rapalas for $2 but I already have what they had. Stopped at 2 wallys and had to ask both clerks to scan Curado's. Both guys were surprised. Neither would sell me the display model. Actually the both had reduced stickers on them for $99. They had a whole box of cheapo spinners for 25 cents each. Might go back and buy them if they are still there.
