Owner Hooks
I just bought $50 worth of owner hooks @ less than $5 per pack. The points looked as good as the Trokar hooks to me. Granted the Trokar hooks had the welded eye and the Owners did not. Anyone dedicated to Owner ?

Cmorg, if I could afford it, I think the only hooks I would get would be owners. IMO sharper than gammies. Great hooks, you'll love them! If they don't I'll take them off your hands!

Lately, I've been liking Owner better than Gamakatsu. I really like their Cutting Point.
I think I'll slowly be switching over to almost all Owner. But I still love my Gammy DS hooks. BB

I use Owner treble hooks and I have some of their swimbait and dropshot single hooks - I like them. I'm still using the Gammie offset worm hooks, they've served me well and they are a little cheaper than the Owners.

Owner makes a really good hook. Really I think once you get to the top of the line hook companies (owner, gammys, and Mustad) you end up in a Ford-Chevy debate, each of the companies have their own loyal followers and I don't know that any one is better than the other.

I use a combination of Owner,Mustad and BPS hooks. Owner, for the most part are made with a heavier mil wire than the other two, this can affect rate of drop, especially with worms. I have found that rate of drop can make a difference on some days.

I think it is like C-Rig said though, it is a Ford V Chevy debate. For me, I use Owner for all my T-rigged applications, Gammy's for dropshot, and Mustad for trebbles.

Owners are unbelieveably incredible. Because they tend to be more expensive than gammies, I go with gammies for most hooks. For drop shotting however, the mosquitos are cheaper than the gammies in my area and come with more hooks, so owners when possible. Gammy DS hooks are also excellent, but the economics/performance ratio is something I always consider and usually heed.
