All right! The reason I posted this thread is because I saw the Reel review. It was a low speed reel, a GREAT cranking reel, by most people. Thus, tackle tour was using manly crankbaits. They also have access to 100's of rods, in the 200-500 price range. So I was pointing out that he was using a cheep-o $50 rod by most people's standers. The people that have access to rods, very expensive cranking rods, where using this cheep rod for cranking on a low speed cranking reel.

So all I was saying is that this is probably a good rod for cranking 'cause he was using it for cranking... I trying to give people an inexpensive rod and alternative to an expensive rod to use for crankbaits, in other words you can spend a little bit, and still get a good rod for cranks..... Sorry if y'all didn't pick that up!!

Don't sweat it, Bassboss. It was just weird how despite it being a thread about the rod, I was trying to figure out what the reel was, and that information would have been easy to get, since the picture was from a review of the reel. But I didn't know that.

When I mistakenly said it looked like a Toro, you said you didn't think it was. As you were the only person who knew where the review came from at the time, you could have solved the mystery then. I think Bingham was referring to that.
