Too many variables to answer correctly. For example how long do I have to fish this body of water? If it's a 1 or 2 day trip, then I better have a guide. So I go for the bigger lakes with the bigger fish. Never know what the weather will be like. Next example, what size of boat will I be in? If it's mine, then I'm staying with smaller bodies of water. If I'm on a Ranger 521 then I'm hitting some bigger lakes. If I have a week or 2 weeks to fish it, then I would go by myself without a guide. Maybe hire a guide for the first day to get an idea of what pattern the fish are on currently. So to answer you question, if it has water in it, and I have a pole in my hand I'll fish it, and it's my favorite place to fish at that moment.
