My year of fishing

I'd have to say this year was an ok year. Biggest thing was getting my girlfriend into fishing. She did real good the first time we were out in the boat this spring. She caught a 6 pound bass on a chatterbait. That beat my record for my home lake. Needless to say she was hooked. I did catch my PB smallmout at 3lbs 6 oz. I know that's not big but I usually don't fish for them. That fish fought like a mule. Can't imagine what a 6 lb smallie would fight like. Caught that smallie and my biggest large mouth this year on my favorite spinnerbait, a half ounce Boo Ya in perch color. Chatter baits, spinnerbaits and the Red Eye Shad were my best lures this year. Can't wait for next spring.
