Almost ready.
Our local lakes are now about 80% ice free, so they will be fully open any day. Spent this weekend doing the outside spring cleanup of the yard, flower beds, deck, and so on. But I also kept getting ready to hit the lakes. New line on the reels tonight, and all the "ice out" lures I take are in their proper boxes. Now to get the trailer and boat ready. Not much to it as it's a john boat powered by a troller and a set of oars, but I need to get another oar before heading out as some how I lost one. Apparently coming home from the final trip of last season I am assuming. This guy is itching to get out! It's been a long winter.

I've done some bass fishing in Florida on Lake Tarpon, launching from a park near Palm Harbor off Rt. 19. Had some memorable days fishing that lake with my dad many years ago.
