What Scents
I normally don't use scents outside of what most plastics come impregnated with. I want to try some different scents this year. i would prefer to use a non oil based attractant but i really have no clue on what types of gels or scent sticks are out there. So if you know of any good scents/attractants lemme know what they are and if it is juice, gel, or stick plz.......thx for imput

I really like the megastrike. Mine looks alittle different than this, they must have changed the tube a bit.

I like the Carolina Lunker Sauce and the Yum spray, both garlic. I don't know if they are oil base or not, but they seem to work for me.

I use two scents... Carolina Lunker Sauce Pro-Gel in Garlic, and the Strike King Coffee Scent. Both seem to work...

I have used Jack's Juice for years. I don't get alot of pick ups and drops. They pick it up and swim with it.

Mix two rounded teaspoons garlic powder, one level teaspoon sea salt together with two cups hot tapwater and stir well. Pour some mix into soft bait ziplocks and mush about. Re seal the baggies and float on a bucket or sinkful of hot tapwater for 30 minutes, drain off excess liquids from each pack and re seal. Out of curiousity once I let a bass go with the treated worm....carried the soft plastic worm over 60 feet before catching the line on the weeds and shaking the lure free when jumping.

Been using this since I first lived in New Orleans in the early 70's
One Ounce Bottle of Pure Anise Oil USP ( not the extract) I just got 2 bottles from my Pharmacist in Brooklyn : they were 7.49 Each Mix it with 4 ounces of Mineral Oil, in a spray bottle I have no expert advice or insight if Bass can even detect an oil in a water enviorment. I have been using it so long, spray all my plastics with it.I have read and heard both sides of this yes they can detect it, no they cant. I feel better with using it, thats not very scientific. |

If you go to www.garlicvalleyfarms.com you will find they offer a water based garlic spray that contains sea salt around 4 bucks a bottle with a three dollar shipping charge, regardless of how many bottles. It's extremely potent and the bottle needs refrigerating after opening. Order with the telephone number directly from the factory and be sure to get the "cold pressed liquid garlic". It's an 8 ounce bottle with a manual spray pump. A couple of spritzes in a baggie of lures is ample....just spritz and mush about, then let dry in the package.

The other night at BPS I couldn't find the CLS-Crawfish scent so I bought the Crawlic instead in the GEL form this time. What do you all think of the gel as opposed to the regular?
Crawlic is suppose to be a cross between craw and garlic without either scent masking over the other. Do any of you have any experience with this? I appreciate your input.

I've used a couple different scents/attractants and this is the best one I've used so far. The best thing I got out of the NAFC product testing thing...
