RiverHill 1-18-07 *unbelievable catch*

Since the weather had cleared, it was only 45 degrees out, I decided to go fishing! Only went forabout an hour, fished 45 minutes with no bass until this baby hit... I thought I had a new world record when it took off. took 15 minutes to land, fought awesome even jumping 2 times

Didnt have a wiegher, so what is ya'll estimate? im thinking 25-30, It was heavy! Caugt on 15 pound big game line. I am submitting it in the local paper for the fishing catches section

. I released it to fight another day. The crazy thing was, this was in this one pond about an acre in size.

44 inch grass carp, foul hooked with a spinnerbait non interntional.

I've gotten em bigger than that .....they are something else though....I got a common carp that was about 5 feet long and probably around 80 pounds.....you will remember that forever probably..

. no i didnt weight it, but im thinking around 30 pounds because he was 44 X about 20 girth, not sure on the girth i didnt take it.

because i had to wade in to grab it because of all the hydrilla it was beached. Notice the snow on the houses? I was cold!
