Default paddletail worms

Anyone know where I can purchase some paddletail worms? I am looking for 8 inch or larger. No one around here sells them. Also, has anyone tried these with any amount of success?

Bob

Bob, you may have to order them from someplace like Bass Pro-they just introduced their own brand. Gambler used to make them, but I don't know it they still are or not. Mann's also makes then-theirs is called a Dragon worm. I got some of the Dragon worms at WalMart. Haven't used them enough to give you a report.

I dont know if they make a paddle tail 8"+.

My local dealar told me the fish was tearin them up but he was sold out of good colors so i just bought most decent color i could find and used them and i caught a few fish on them only reason i didnt catch more is because i couldnt find a decent color, but they were shaped like a tiki and had a paddle tail on the end they didnt last very long either.(I forgot the name and i couldnt find them on BPS site but they look just like the new Paddle Stick made by BPS its in there catalog)

Heres the dragon that Reb suggested: http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catal...rTarget=browse

Heres some more you could try i have no idea how they are: http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/descp...OM-ZSPWRM.html

I've thrown the Zoom speed worm with some success at the right time. I've got 'em at BPS and Academy.

bob I fished the Producto paddle tail 4 inch worm during most of my tournament years, however I think they are out of biz now, out of fla.

http://www.landbigfish.com/tacklestore/fishingworms.cfm

heres one example but if you do a google search on most plastics brands they list paddle tails, like zoom, glider, etc

454, I haven't used french fry baits in a while. I used to catch alot of fish with it, I just drifted away from fishing like that.I always used a mini Carolina rig, 3/8 oz weight and fished the outside weedbeds with it.The majority of the time I used a Zoom centepede in cotton candy color. The color was found when I sent the wife to pick some up and she brought it back. I had doubts that it would work , but after running out of the redbug colored ones, I switched to the cotton candy color and never bought anything else because the color worked very well. P N J
