Default Mann's Hard Nose

Bought a pack of Mann's hard nose swim toads. Great idea for plastics. Anyone try them out yet? A line of baits with a hard nose and softer body. Yamamoto should of thought of that. Naw, then senkos would be $10.00 a pack.

Reb, went down to the river tonight. Used the hard nose frog. Didn't get a hit. Used a spinnerbait and a mann's minus-1-nothing. Was going to leave but said what the heck and tied on a small black jitter bug. Being fairly new to bait casters after each cast I make sure there is no over run. This is a little hard in the dart but it works for me. While I was checking one hit the bug while it was sitting there. Reeled in a small mouth. Same size as all the rest they caught this weekend here during the classic. I live on the Mon. Back to the hard nose. I like them. The bait stays in place. I'll try them again soon on a lake.

You know what really works well on the back of an all black jitter bug, it a red buck tail trebble hook, the hook could be red as well I have noticed a big difference after I switched things up on mine. just a thought for ya.

Robby.

Good to know, Bob-I'll have to give them a try. You do realize you outfished several of the pros? You even outfished the FLW AOY !

Good idea, Robby. BTW, hopefully Saturday I'll be fishing some muddy water-already have the Warrior ready to go!
