A First
Many times I've seen big bass attack a hooked bluegill, but today I hooked a tiny bass on a shakey head and a huge brute engulfed it. I reeled in a piece of the little guy's lip. Next time I go there I'm bringing every lure I have in baby bass.

I have had bluegill hook up with my baits before and have a big bass come and swallow it up. In fact, that is how I caught my largest bass. Never had that happen with a small bass though. But I have been fishing a little pond with little fish in it lately. I always thought about letting one of those little guys run loose for a while and see what happens. I dont like wasting any bass, but maybe I can let one run around for a while....and if he is still holding on after about 20 minutes I can let him go. But maybe he lands me a lunker.
