2 New Ponds Were Found Today
well fello fisher people...today i scoped out 2 new ponds that i found on the internet close to the place i'm going to move to soon.....they are sweettttttttt.....i caught 10 fish out of em.....they were small but there is alot of potential there....i talked to a local who was fishing with his son and he told me the biggest he had caught out of there is 6 lb's....so i am optimistic for these nice sweeeeeeet ponds....the biggest i got there today was 2-2 1/2 pounder....caught with a red with black flake "yo momma" 3 in from black magic....he hit it hard....and fat...man that fish was fat....i had a blast fishing for about 2 hours in the pouring rain....i was soaked but dang i had a good time.....missed my fishing partner....but he's been occupied for a few days.....but i did call and rub it in ..hehehehe....also went to our usual pond and made 5 casts caught 4 nice ones the biggest was about 3-4 pounds...on a mann's baby -1 craw color....i called and bragged about that too....hehehehe.....hope everyone had a great fishing day today.....

hey, that is great news about your fishing trip. how did you find those ponds on the internet? there is a serious shortage of ponds available to me when i am in texas. they are all privately owned and the owners generally don't like people fishing out of them.

Anyway, I agree with BTL, it's a great app to help you find water you might not already know existed. I took a trip to Orlando in January, and it helped me a lot in scoping out places I could just drive to and fish from the bank. The satellite maps are killer! |

The picture looks kind of funny with the cars driving down the street and the houses. But I must say that is a nice looking fish for a pond. I always feel kind of funny when I take my little girl fishing to local ponds.

I like fishing ponds like that, but most are private around here too.
I have had better luck getting close in Michigan with this one: http://local.live.com/ it is a memory hog though. I can get pretty close to my house. My brother fishes right near I-77 in NC and he says the cars all honk when he reels one in. |
