Default Only 187 days to go

Until Superbowl Sunday!
I know that this site is historically more of a college football site, but the NFL is also right around the corner.

I know that the popular picks this year are San Diego vs Green Bay.

As much as it pains me to say this, I think Dallas will make quite a run. In the AFC, I think this may in fact be the Charger's year.

Of course with my heart, I will say go Redskins. I just won't put money to it.

What do you all think?

I've yet to get a real "favorite" team. I like the stealers, Cowboys, and saints.

Never fallowed football a whole lot, this year I WILL though

I'd love to see the Colts and the Rams in the Super Bowl. However I know that won't happen. I expect the Pats and the Colts to be fighting it out to get there. I really have no idea who will get there from the National League.I think thats a toss up.

dolphin fan at heart. but mostly have given up on pro football. seems there is NO loyalty anymore, just whoever pays the most money. but i think the saints have good chance of repeating, baring injuries.

I totally agree with that John. I remember when I was a kid your favorite teams stars usually retired from your team. Now today, it's all about money. There are a few stars who are loyal. It's the NBA but I remember Micheal Jordon taking a pay cut to help his financially troubled Bulls one year. And the contracts these punk kids just comming out of college are getting to play in the NFL makes me sick. There really needs to be a rookie cap.

Naturally the Steelers. Hope they make it to the playoffs at least. Defense needs to do better this year. Always fun to drown the browns though.

Jim I'm a Rams fan, now that's a dream. But 10 yrs ago the Rams went from worst to first so let's try that dream again.

This isn't just isolated to pro football, and it's not just the players. How about college football coaches like Mr. Saban at Alabama for example? Are you giving up on being a 'bama/college football fan just because he hasn't exactly been Mr. Loyal since he was at Michigan State?

I agree with you 100% about the need for a rookie salary cap, but just because they sign ridiculously huge contracts right out of college today, that doesn't make them "punk kids". At least not by my definition of a "punk kid" anyway.
