Winter Freshwater Challenge ~Official Thread~
What: Bassfishin.com Winter Online Tournament When: From December 9th, 2006 to January 31st, 2007 Cost: Nothing but we are looking for $5 donations (will buy 2 bags of plastics at a local store) or soft plastics/lure donations. We are also currently looking for sponsors. All proceeds go directly back to the tournament. The Two Categories: Best 2 combined fish Slam Category Best 2 Combined Fish: This is a length tournament so your 2 longest bass added together is your score. Longest wins! Slam Category: This will consist of 3 freshwater fish possible to catch around the country. Bass and 2 other fish to be announced on December 8th, 2006. To participate you must take a picture with a credible measuring device and the "password" (given on December 8th, 2006). This is known as CPR or Catch, Photograph, and Release. Fish will be measured to the nearest 1/4". Read and understand all of the rules before entering! 1. Hook and Line only, No snagging, netting, and use of explosives, etc. 2. Artificial and Live Bait Permitted 3. You must sign up by December 31st, 2006 to participate. 4. Entering photo's, Enter as many as you can even if it's small fish, we wanna see 'em. There may also be a random prize or most creative photo. If you don't know how to post up photo's ask me or I will be happy to do it for you. 5. If the same person comes in 1st for both categories the highest prize will be awarded to them and then the 2nd place person. 6. An Extra 1" will be given to all Ice Fishermen's Bass, You must be able to prove you were ice fishing in the picture. 7. The allowed bass are Largemouth, Smallmouth, Spotted, Suwanee, Shoal, Redeye, Guadalupe, and Peacock. Sign-In 1. ToPwAt'R GuY 2. rrw4258 3. bubba bass bigfoot 4. BassMoJo 5. WTL 6. Deacon 7. im in but im not going to donate and if i win dont bother sending me anything. i am in it for pride and braggin rights lol. just give the prizes to the runner ups IF, IF I win. hope thats cool. i also feel if you enter and dont donate and win you dont get anything just fair if you ask me. unless there is not that many donations.

Ok, I'll bite. I'm in.
BTW, Peacock bass are not a black bass. I dont mind them counting, just fyi. The black bass you are missing include guadelupe, shoal and redeyes. I might put up a redeye just to be a jerk, even though its hard to get one longer than 10 inches. And for the record, the flashing graphics are what swayed me to join. Wish I would have had that for the team tourney.

Another FYI peacok bass arent BASS at all. That just happens to be a nickname thaey have gotten over the yrs. Absolutly no relation to a bass!!!

well it figured, i went by the res. and pond (my usuals), and they both have ice on them pretty much all the way around... if they thaw, ill see what i can do... oh well...

im glad about the lenth only rule, but the odd times when i catch a big one, like over 4 pounds, they are short and fat lol
