Some fish as of lately - Lots of Pics
Here is one that I caught today. I had just lost a good fish on a deep crank and this one hit while I was yo-yoing a Red Eye Shad. I thought it was a rock. My drag just slipped like a salmon hit. He jumped and I thought I was gonna faint. I took a few pictures of this one. 20"x15" - 5 pounder.
My brothers caught a bunch Winnebago Lake Muskego Lannon Quarry These are from Canada Caught these in 5 casts. I'm also going to Minoqua in about two weeks to pound on some huge smallies. I've been extremely fortunate this year to have been able to go on so many vacations. Last edited by jooleyen; 08-05-08 at 03:18 PM. |

lol. Thanks. I just bought as many quantums as I could afford, as they had a kickass deal that I just couldn't pass up. Luckily, I had lots of money saved up and I'm still gettin my $50 rebates back in the mail. Awesome!

Thanks for sharing. Check out the war wounds on that first pike, how big was that bad boy?

He was only 35". Trophies are like 50". Lol. Mine doesn't even compare!
ALL of the pike we caught had those "war wounds" - they're from other pike. There were no bass in that chain of lakes, so the only competition is Walleye and Pike. The Pike feed on themselves. There are Pike, Walleye, and Perch in there; thats it. |

Hey thanks everyone. Snake, I think I MIGHT have got the girth, but if I did, I forgot it. It was probably between 18 and 22 or something.

nice pike..
when knockin back eyes bass tackle will work just as good but for pike i would go a bit bigger think inshore tackle..nothing a redfish would do to a reel a pike can't.. i caught a 50" musky on a ambassador 5500 and an 8 foot inshore ugly stick.. zooker
