Default Mounting a transducer for a flasher and sonar on a trolling moto.

Im looking to get the trolling motor mount for my vexilar, but already have a sonar transducer on it and there isn't really enough room for the both. Is there a special mount, or even a side mount? Any input would be great! Good fishin'

now fool the question is.. WHY?? do you need to add the vexilar transducer and a regular depthfinder up front?? the vexilar is a flasher unit and your going to mix it with a standard depth finder.

first don't!!!! the high strobe strenth of the flasher will cause ghost readings in the standard depth finder. the regular hi def 80/200mhz transducer signal will throw false readings into the a flasher unit..

flasher units like the vexilar are very accurate at high speeds unlike the hi def transducer which will fuzz out.. normal operation of a flasher is in the dash with the tranducer in the back of the boat..

you can build a twin rigger but again but why??

yeah the flasher will really mess up the readings ..... we have to trun off the flasher in the back of the boat to use the graph .... we even turn the graph off in the back of the baot when we fishin b/c it messes up the front graph

I'm only going to use one unit at a time. I'm going to use the flasher for summer fishing when I fish drop shot and spoons verticle below the boat. I know they echos would throw eachother off.

ok fool as long as you know that..

you can add something like this as an extra..

as simple as two hose clamps and a piece of threaded rod.. i use 3 nylon bolts to hold the transducer..
