Cardinals fans, whats up???
Here I live in Cubs country and I'm a Cardinal fan big time. Always have been and always will be. The only problem with this is that I don't get much news about what the Cards are up to. Sooo, for my fellow Cards fans, when did David Eckstein leave the Cardinals??? I just saw a blurb about David being and ex Cardinal. I about choked. My wife even has a Cardinal jersey with Davids name on the back. To say I'm pissed is an understatement!!! Did he leave as a free agent or was he traded? I could just s#*t.

big time cards fan here. the way i understand it, they tried to resign eckstein and just couldn't reach an agreement. we are huge eckstein fans, in fact my wife and i went to st. louis and seen two games against houston and my wife got his autograph during batting practice. anyways they signed a shortstop that is anything but sure handed in ceasar izturis from the god forsaken cubs. i heard they are talking with bartolo colon from the angels too, would probably make a good starter if you can throw him in with a healthy mulder, carpenter, and wainright. they need pitching bad. also heard that they are listening to offers for rolen. i like scott rolen a lot but he is hurt quite a bit and if they could get some pitching for him, maybe that would be best.

Now there has been talk of Scott Rolen leaving (may have happened)
I heard about it last week..but didn't catch any updates. Eckstein is a scrappy player and comes through in the clutch..he will be missed, along with our sanity from last season
