Default Plan B

First plan was to be at CBBT with arms tired and many a pic of convict bass. But the wind was too much for a small boat. So I went with Plan B trout fishing on Big Hunting Creek.

Breakfast at the Cozy and up into the mountain for some trout.. Creek was low and pools very thin. Saw some trout in couple of pools and got some shots but they refused the fly all day. Ice forming on guides and a big front moving in made for some tough fishing. But the place has a magic all its own and I really enjoyed getting out. If this place ever gets ruined a piece of my heart will die with it.. I used to fish this same stretch over 25 years ago..

Andy working hard for a fish that never would hit.

Later we fished the wing dam area. Notice how low the water is..

Good to get out and get some mountain air..
