Yes shaped like a worm ,made sugar, glucose syrup, starch, flavouring, food coloring, citric acid, and gelatin and a few with sweet anis(which in some states is illegal).
While that worm looks attractive bet the blue smurf will catch them as well.
Considered bait,not an imitator,just as ham and hotdogs,yes they work as well the latter more so on catfish.
Once while getting fish for dinner finished my limit with a ham sandwich,both gill and small 12 in bass.

yes i suppose if u attach any food to a hook you'd most likely catch something.


bassboss, i havent tried it yet but will. the only down fall is that sugar melts so you'd probably get only so much usage out of 1 gummy worm but then again the same can be said with plastics

My new bait! We were joking about this just last week, when I ran out of my favorite senko, and had gummi's that closely resmble(color wise) 'em. Now I am definitely going to try it. It would be great with the kids.

I think about trying Gummy worms everey time I see a bag but I neveer actually try it. Now I probably will just for the fun factor. lol

been there done that. they work awesome on carp. there is a creek by my house that has monster carp in it in the spring, we go down there and wacky rig gummy worms under a float and kill it. those carp are fun as hell on bass gear.

Brother in law hard a tourney with me one day. Said he was going to beat me with his secret lure. So as I'm fish trying to figure out what he would be using a warper floats by of sour gummie worms. My partner laughs and says bet you that's it. Lol sure enough it was!
Side note he still lost to us.

I've done this before... it works in areas that any other normal senko/work works on plus a chance of catching fish that prefer sweeter foods like certain carp. Down side is they tear up real easy so in the time that 1-3 senkos would last, you would likely go through most of a pack of gummy worms. Plus in the sun or 85+ (F) heat, the worms get REALLY sticky so keep them in a cooler or at least 50-70ºF.
