Post Don Iovino Releases New Article and Book

Don Iovino has been a fixture in bass fishing for three decades and has caught more big bass than just about anyone. He just got back from mexico and has some new tips for Giant Largemouth Bass.

Don Iovino, known as the "Godfather of Finesse Fishing", has just released a new article which came out this week in Gary Yamamoto's "Inside Line" magazine, and is sure to raise a few eyebrows!

Don recently went to Mexico and guided many of the fishing Industry's professionals to at least a ten pound bass or above, every single day, for forty-nine days straight!

Don attributes this to his understanding of electronics, which is the subject of his new book.

Don goes into detail on just how to use each technique, and how to put your electronics to work for you in easy to understand formats.

Don recently did an interview with Anglers Radio and talks about bass fishing today and many of the anglers he helped learn to use their electronics to further their pro career, such as Gary Klein, Byron Velnick, and many others.

You can listen to Don on Anglers Radio and also purchase his book at discount prices from Delaware Tackle at www.delawaretackle.com, who offers discounts on everything to all clubs, pro's, and federation anglers.

Don's book contains many tips and tactics and is titled;

"Finesse Bass Fishing & the Sonar Connection" by Don Iovino.
It opens up the specialized world of refined techniques such as down-shotting, splitshotting, dart heads and doodling, as well as sonar interpretation, for every part of the country.

The legendary Don Iovino has been at the forefront of sonar use and finesse bass fishing techniques since the 1970s and continues to fine-tune his own, as well as other established methods.

Says Michael Jones, B.A.S.S. senior writer, "No second hand information here. Find out about the finesse phenomenon from the guy who was there from the beginning, Don Iovino. As a guide, tournament pro and innovator, he has been a major influence in the sport. As for collaborator George Kramer, who better to share the story than California's best-known bass fishing writer and the one who first ‘discovered' Iovino in the early 1970s.

Don will be fishing the US OPEN tournament next week, an event he has won before, and he is still a threat today at 65 years of age. Don told Anglers radio Steve vonbrandt last week, "It's a good thing the bass can't tell how old we are", in his usual jovial tone.

The price per book is $15.95 available now in the Delaware tackle store at www.delawaretackle.com
