Hmm, looks good. I think that I would get one stuck in me pretty easly.... However I guess how long will that point last? And if does have a higher carbon content and the black chrome coating, it's going to take longer to rust out.
But, if money is on the line you want a hook that's not going to come out.

(I hear the monkey talking, he's getting louder...)

I might be wrong, Boss, but I think they're selling for $2.25 per hook, not for the pack. Correct me if I'm wrong, zook.

HOLY COW! Those look awsome. I gotta get me some of those! Imagine using those on baits that traditionally are low hookup percentage baits!

Expensive to say the least. Zook, have you looked at these? Excellent hook, conical point, welded eye and the offset provides an excellent hookup. The super strong wide gap hook is just plain nasty. Price point isn't bad either. I'm not trying to change your mind, just offering another option if you're looking for a new - really good hook. Pic is of the regular strengh hook, which I like for worms. The x-heavy is better for pitchin' bulkier plastics. Check them out.

The Youvella Offset Wide Gap Hook is perfect for all manner of soft plastics, and is the only wide gap hook with a built-in offset. To increase hook-up percentages, the pros have been offsetting wide gap hooks for years with a pair of pliers, but this significantly weakens the hook. By working closely with pro staffers Mike Iaconelli, Ish Monroe, Greg Hackney, and Peter "T" Thliveros, Youvella has created the first offset wide gap hook.

**available at everyone's favorite: Tackle Warehouse.
