The exchange here on the base was doing a sporting good inventory reduction sale today . (At least that's what the sign said)

I walked over to check it out all the time saying that I am just going to look. Maybe it wasn't me saying it, but the monkey on my shoulder.

Picked up some 100 DD pointers for $7 each, some Owner hooks for $1.99 a pack, and a couple of 250 yard spools of P-line Fluoro at $9.99 each.

Funny how I can convince myself that spending this money at lunch was a great savings for me rather than the savings of not going over there at all.

those are some really good buys cassidyta. especially on the jerkbaits and hooks.

I knew the deal was great on the hooks and jerks. I had been pricing the pointers but never could pull the trigger at 15+ each. I really like the owner hooks on my larger plastics as well as flipping.
Of course, knowing my recent track record I will probably be posting something about their triangle hook design and the affect it has on the webbing of my hand, shoulder, etc.....

yeah i could see that considering a few of the stories you posted on here lol. oh by the way, the hooks on those pointers are crazy sharp so be careful lol.
