Looks like they're gonna be releasing this new rod at this years Icast. Not about the color yet though. Definitely meant for a revo premier, color combo matches up right with one for sure. I like the idea of the expendable grip, not a new one, but still a good one.

However I was hoping for micro guides!

Can't wait to get my hands on one of these rods.. that and the veritas will be high on my rods to handle list this/next year!

what do you guys think?

I would have been happy with just this and not the split grip.. longer handle and I'd looks sweet!!

Much cooler looking than the Veritas, that's for sure. But the Veritas isn't even available yet. If it's not here by ICAST or within a week after, I wouldn't expect the Verdict to be out until next spring.

Not a big fan of the split reel seat on spinning rods, so again, I'll stick to a casting if I get one. I've heard great things about the Veritas compared to the Vendetta. So if this rod is that much better, it'll be very hard to beat for $140.

Yup! That's for sure!

Remember in last years Icast preview for it, they said "No reason a 500$ should cost 500$" lets see if they hold to their words!

And you mind share where you got the info on the veritas? Johnny A. from the Tackle tour forum maybe?
