Lake Junaluska is a small old man made lake in the mountains of Western NC.....surrounded by a walking trail....The many times I've fished it....the best results were produced by an Excalibur ghost minnow or a Rooster tail spinner......The lake has some fairly large black bass....I've seen some on beds that appear to be in the 4-5 lbs range....There are abundant crappie and blue gill as well.....The best area for fishing is along the "Rose Walk". Its hard to fish due to the rocky incline....but well worth it. I've found the area west of the walking bridge is a little murky and harder to fish.....If you rent one of the boats.....the area along the road that leads to Maggie Valley is pretty good as well....Hope this helps....good luck....
