Default Tims Ford Evening Fishing

Tim's Ford 6-23-2006
This evening I got to fish with Rodney Dicks and his friend Brad. We had a small mix up on our meeting place but were able to get started by 6:30pm and ran to a back of a creek to see if we could pick up some largemouth until the sun set. We caught and released one small largemouth on a four inch jig worm. We had several other hits but didn't connect. At 7:25pm we decided to start trying for the ol brown fish. What we found was the Smallmouth were on main gravel rounds. Rodney and Brad have only been bass fishing about 2 months but they were quick learners as you can see in these pictures. Rodney's fish weighed 4.3 pounds and Brad went 3.8 pounds. We also had a 3.8 pound keeper and two other smaller keepers as well. Since Brad and Rodney were pre fishing for a tournament if we caught a fish on a round we would leave it. I has 3 different Smallmouth start to swim off with the jig but didn't set the hook but showed Rodney and Brad so they would know what to look for in line movement at night. We caught all our fish on the Hoss Fly and Prowler Chunk www.prowlerlures.com , we quit at 10:15 and spent a little time going over the map. Good luck on Monday night guy's.....David DuVall www.tennesseebassguides.com
