actually it goes back to the days of sailing vessels. bunches of bannas were brought on board would have 2 of the most deadly spiders in the world hidden in them.

the brazillion wandering spider... killed 5 americans last year cause it was hidden in bunches of bannanna's in grocery stores.. think about it...

Wow, old post. Now that we have a boat, I really don't care if bananas are in it.

Zook, personally, I find those brazillion wandering spiders give nanner bread a very good taste.

Zooker, you have been turned in to the Banana Defamation Society. You will be hearing from a representative shortly. Banana's get a bad rap for everything from diahrea to constipation, and to infer the poor banana contributes to bad fishing is ridiculous. Bananas all enter the Country leagaly, work hard and contribute to the National Health.
Just because they are not American like apples, oranges, peaches, and numerous other fruits is no reason to defame the wonderful banana. We are sending a case of bananas to your home, hopefully you will enjoy them and change your opinion.
