good day fishing
 today we got a break on the heat. clouds. little rain all day. started day throwing buzz bait over grass caught 4 keepers . then moved out deep sitting in 35 foot thowing to 6/8' using a dd22 sexy shad. only got two. then decided to throw parallel to drop off got 25 more all keepers 1lb 1 1/4 . mostly 14 to 16 in, best day i have had all year.

Sounds like ya got out on a GREAT summer day. When ever the sun's not as intense, they'll really start biting, especially in the rain.
 Caught 6 or 7 the other day in similar conditions from this little spot I fish from the bank. Water temp was in the high 70's as appose to the 80's. Really turned em on and brought em shallow!
