Default Maybe A Dummy Question But I'll Ask Anyway

Been looking for a way to run Led lights around inside of my boat. I was at home depot the other day an ran across a Led rope light the kind you would hang around the hoildays. If I cut the cord and put a splitter on the positive and negative an hooked it up to the 12v battery would it work?? Don't know that much about electrical. Or if anyone can lead me in the right directions or help me find someone who might make something. Thanks

You could use that wire lights, but you'll need to by a inverter. What it does converts AC to DC. You can buy these inverters from plenty of stores including BPS, Cabela's and Dick's and even Gander Mtn.
Hope this info will help. I had put one on my boat, have no problems with it.

MI Basser,
Thanks for the lighting source! Awesome kits. I'm gonna add some lights to my restored bass boat. Just finished painting. Will post pics as promised in my thread.

I also got mine from bluewaterled.com. They are awesome, and though I've not had to use it, others say that the customer service is great. Good luck!
