buzzbaits
i found the cheap $1 buzzbait next to the $1 spinnerbait at walmart a few days ago.they also had booyah blade spinnerbaits $1 off,so i grabbed a white,1/4 ounce tandem booyah blade and a chartreuse 1/4 ounce buzzbait. i am gonna learn these 2 baits in the next year, hopefully.

I use to throw spinner baits a bit back in the day, but the past 2 years I haven't picked one up. I like using a crank bait in a situation where a spinner bait would come in. I definetly have more confidence in crankbaits now than ever before.
I started using buzz baits alot more last yer though. I usually start out throwing them in the morning around points or rock jetties and been able to produce a few fish. But don't over look using them at all hours of the day. Last summer I caught a 5 pounder about three o'clock in the after noon on one. Small buzz baits work great too. I use them in a pond that recieves a lot of pressure. They are to small to throw on a bait caster, but a med 6-6.5' rod with 12-14 pound line will be fine. good luck

The most commom buzz bait pattern would be to fish them shallow around floating or emergent weeds. Let the fish's strike zone indicate were they want the buzz bait placed. Close to the weeds so they ambush it, or are they willing to chase it. Running a buzz bait by a weed pocket is a sure way to get a strike. If a bass misses your buzz bait, have a nother rod ready with some type of platic! After the fish misses throw the plastic in the area where the bass was and he is sure to get your follow up presentation! good fishin
