Pure Fishing
Since Pure Fishing purchased Stren a while back, will the Stren lines become the same as Berkely lines. I.E. Vanish (Stren) flourocarbon ?

I like Ande as well.
1. Place Ande on spool. 2. Go up appx. 1/4" of spool. 3. Clip Ande from remaining full spool of line. 3. Tie good line to Ande. 4. Fill to appx 1/8" of edge of spool. 5. Now your ready top go. Andi makes great "back up" line.

I personally didn't like the Suffix Siege. It frayed way to easy. I've been talked into trying Suffix Pro Mix. I bought some in 14 lb and will spool it on soon and try it. I hope Stren Florocarbon doesn't become like Vanish. Vanish will break if a fish sneezes on it. You will never find me with that junk on my reels again. The Transition is just as bad.

BassAddict,
Thats what I was referring to. I hope they don't do like Vanish. If they do then it's time for a change. I "heard" that Suffix was trying to come out with flourocarbon. Is this true ?

Laser, I have found Sufix siege to be very good line.Mustad Thor line is a close second, but Thor gains memory as you use it.Once in a while the Bass pro shop tungstun weights will leave nicked marks on the line from a hookset,Sometimes I forget I am not flippin and put a wicked hookset on them, but I have never broken off yet.I retie after cutting the chattered section off.I think the weight holes have a burr or a sharp edge internally where your line goes through, because it don't happen all of the time and if I change out the weight, I don't usually have any more problems with the line for the rest of the day.I liked the P-Line , but the Sufix siege has less stretch and lower line memory.
