Have you guys seen the big frogs that Spro and Snag proof are coming out with,Tru-tungsten has a sick one too,I saw it at bass pro shops the other day it look like the hooks are in better place to get more hook ups,bc the spro's are kinda on the side of the frog

Haven't used the big ones. The Tru Tungsten's are nice, some guys bend the hooks slightly upward for better hook ups. I like the Reaction Innovation Swamp Donkey, already has the upturned Gammi hooks (unique to that bait). Unfortunatly they are not in production and it looks like next summer before they MAY be available again. I'm not one that thinks 'bigger" is necessarily better when it comes to frogs in slop.

Hey SBK, was it the Mad Maxx Frog? I tried a couple of those for the first time today. Jury's still out on those.
They cast farther than both the Spro and Bobby's Perfect and allow almost zero water inside. No real trial on hook ups though. Pad action was very weak today. Caught only one and it was on the Bobby's Perfect. I do have high hopes for them though. Especially since I ordered 2 lol

The mad maxx has a harder body, and the rattles are strapped on the hook shank/s, and make it so the frog doesnt compress much. Im sticking with the Bobby's frog.

the spro frog is hard to beat, ive caught so many fish on them in the last few years, it'll have to be the next best thing since sliced bread to get me to switch.
