Default Fishing trip today

Well the weather was warm today so jasbo33 and and his son and I decided to go try are luck today. I caught a trout and jasbo's son caught a 19 1/2" bass. Had a ball help the cabin fever. You can not hardly tell the size of the bass in the picture but it is a nice one.

I'm hoping winter is about half over here, the first couple months aren't bad but feb and march seem forever to warm up and then by april we can fish again if the ice is gone.

your right jb, we SHOULD be fishing in march here. just hope we don't get to many of them sudden artic blasts this year. rain is ok, just not freezing artic blasts when it does rain. makes for a BADDD day here in da south. most of these idiots don't know how to drive in icey conditions. 1 dumbazz can kill 15 on the road. sudden braking kind of stuff. for the life of me i can't understand why they don't remember what they were told about this sort of thing. YOU NEVER BRAKE ON ICE STUPID!! just let off the gas and it'll be alright. dumbazzzes.

It also has been real cold here we went to one lake and it was frozen over so we decided to go to Paintsville lake and where so happy that it wasn't at first we went a little way don't the lake and there was the ice so we fish what wasn't frozen. Sure beats setting around the house. The water tempts where we fished was around 34 degrees.
