Spade Fishing
Spade fishing the Chesapeake bay. Is it legal to bowfish them? I know you can spear them but I am thinking about trying to bowfish them this spring. Any info would be great.
Thanks, Jerry

i hope you have fun bowfishing..... one of my friends does it and loves it.... dont know the answer to your question..... get a set of rules and i bet it says..... they are free in SC.... i can get them at the local tackle shop or i bet at Bass Pro or Cabelas..... or you could ask a DNR guy ( Department of Natural Resources)

Tidal bowfishing is limited to carp, gar and snakehead. BUT
Md Tidal regs are a little funky so I would suggest get with DNR and get it in writeing.. That piece of paper may save you a ticket.. Capt Mike
