Default Someone tell me how this can possibly be regulated?

http://www.mustad.no/www2010/?page_id=3957

Now how can they possible tell what brand hook was actually used?
You register once and contest started Oct. goes till Sept.
Now whats to stop someone from registering and sticking a couple of Mustads in the tackle box and if you ever have the good fortune of catching a record, claim it was done on a Mustad?

Joe I may be wrong but I think they are more concerned with perception than reality. Whether you were actually using a mustad or not if you say you were then their sales go up exponentially.............................

I think the previous poster makes a good point. There's also the possibility of a lie detector test, but I haven't seen the fine print.

X Point did this when they first came out back in 1999 or so. The check was given out only after a polygraph pass.

Yes, because the fishing tackle industry is just full of people who tell the truth all the time.
