Bass-0 Snakes-1
While I didn't catch any bass today at lunch, I did, however, manage to hook this 3 1/2 foot long brown water snake. He wasn't happy until I unhooked him and let him go back into the water. He actually seemed rather grateful and allowed me to hold him without trying to bite me. He must have known that I wasn't going to kill him.

that had to be a moment .... what did he bite on or did you skin hook him .

He bit my 6" lizard and then I skin hooked him about 4 to 5 inches below his head. You can see the blood in the pic just below my hand. I tried to skin hook a 5.5 foot guy but he was to elusive.
