Quick question, what # line should I be using with a ultra light action spinning rod?

anywhere from 2 lb - 6 lb (at most)..id stick with 4 lb test...

Thanks Mack,
I figured the rod came with 4lb test on it and that is what I was going to replace it with. Looks like I’ll have to go to the store and pick some up…Believe it or not I found a spool of 17lb. test in an old tackle box laying around the house, god only knows what that is used for… |

I use 20lb when pitching jigs for pigs..

I personally use 8-10 on my ultralite, but that's only because I go after 2 foot cats with it. for bassin I'd switch to a 4-6lb though
