Default How do you guys cast Heddon Teeny Torpedo?

My fishing buddy gave me one. For me, it's kinda hard to cast this 1/8 oz tiny thing. Just wondering how do you guys cast this lure?

Cheers!

The smllest one I use is a Tiny Torpedo. I can throw it with a baitcaster, but for the Teeny I'd use a spinning rod.

Yeah! I use spinning rod (7') too. However, I still feel difficult to cast it, specially accrautely. how long can you guys cast it?

depends on line size but i normally use a light action 7 foot spinning rod for the teeny and the 1/8 oz buzz baits...oh yeah 8 pound test it will go farther than a regular torpeedo on heavy bait casting gear.

Thanks a lot! I am using SpiderWire STEALTH 14lb on a M action 7' spinning rod. Also I have another setup : Cajun Red Cast 8lb on a light action 7' spinning rod. So what is your opinion, which setup will work better?

Cheers

Ditto. That would be a good setup for that teeny torpedo.

The spinning gear here at my house only see action for two baits, one is the grub and the other being the tiny torpedo, for some reason the tiny size works best for me compared to its fat sisters lol

Thanks all.

JB:
What is your opinion about tiny torpedo and its fat sisters at night-fishing? Which one works better for you?
