tom sip on a absolute and dig on this, I continually fail to see how illegal immigrants can be defended in their actions. They are on U.S. soil without legal documentation, without the guarantee of any rights or protection that are extended to legal citizens of this country. I can't believe that the N.C. legislature is currently considering a bill that would give illegal immigrants (or undocumented workers as they call it) the right to have in state tuition at our state's universities and community colleges.
How outrageous is this. Our state institutions are paid for by TAXPAYERS, for the use of tax-paying citizens of this state. That is why out-of-state tuition is absorbently higher than that for NORTH CAROLINA residents. If this bill is passed, then I forsee problems arising in that legal, taxpaying college students will be bumped from spots by higher-achieving illegal aliens.
I'm all for allowing legal, regulated immigration into the United States. That's how our nation came to be, what I am against, however, is the opening of our borders to whoever desires, thus causing a heavier strain on our nation's resources than already exists.

Closing the border is easy, set up military posts, and fences, hopefully the guys coming back from Iraq would be there LOL. We don't need a military base say in Indiana, or Kentucky, put them where we do need them.

They demand schooling, funding, medical, housing, etc. See what you get if you go there and try to put a U.S. flag on top of a Mexican flag in a school yard. The real problem is that the majority of the people want to deport the illegals, but the people who control the media are the minority that are in the same boat as ted kennedy and hillary clinton. If GW, or anyone in congress tries to enforce the immigration laws or make new ones, the media will immediatley label them as "not understanding" or even "racist."

the place i work at is 90% mexican workers..every body i have spoke to has agreed that the immagration laws need to be changed.they are 60 years old after all..i have know some of these guys for more than 10 years.i count many of them as friends.this subject is not nor will ever be an easy explaination.. some of my co-workers have since i have known them become an american citzens some are trying to become citzens. it takes a minimum of 5 years to become an american citzen.and add at least 1 trip to washinton dc a year...

the flag debate. i could careless if they have and display there national flag..we after all have been displaying confederate flags in america for over 150 YEARS..and yes dammit i have more than a few confederate flags in my house..they just need to remember what country they are in..

Kennedy added “It will determine who can earn the privilege of citizenship. It will determine our strength in separating those who would harm us from those who contribute to our values.” An interesting statement from a guy with no values at all, who has never earned anything in his entire life, I’d say. But yes it will Teddy, and we can start by separating those who entered our home with respect for our home and our laws, from those who invaded our home uninvited, ILLEGALLY and now demand our submission!

Then Teddy lets the cat out of the bag, “It will determine our future progress as a nation and our future economic growth.” He say’s “progress”, as in “progressive”, as in “socialist” as in “One World Body”, followed by “economic growth”, which translates to, we need your taxes to keep growing our federal dependency organization built upon the backs of the proletariat.

Who else is behind this “progressive” approach to immigration? The usual cast of socialist clowns of course.
